I think that in a perfect world there would be a wonderful balence of the three. It would be a great place that was economically strong, could have control of leaderships and have basic rights as a human. I think that China is a very strong and independant country. Everybody comes from different places and just because their cultures and laws are different doesn't mean they are wrong. I think it depends on what specific countries are in need of at the time as to decide it's importance.

I think that because life is multi-faceted we need all. If you are successful enough economically but suddenly arrested for no reason and imprisoned you will fight for your human rights. As to democracy, it depends on what form of democracy will work. Personally, I believe that democracy with a father figure that has a strong political will to rule is important. Incidentally, I just saw on TV a documentary about the developments in China today and it is really amazing. The structures built are awesome. China indeed have changed a lot. One of these days I might consider visiting China. enjoy life!

Hello Weizen. I live in the US and I do not hear of people feeling negative about China. Our country owes China a great debt! I think human rights are most important, but part of that right should be the ability to earn well for the work they do and not have to bow down to greedy companies that over-charge for everything. And then democracy. As you know, our country fought for that right. Freedom is a precious thing, so all three of things are intricately tied, one to another. Karen

i think the importance of the three can not be compared easily now.it just like the relationship between efficiency and fair .we Chinese have our own circumvent ,we can choose our own way.first of all we have to develop the economics and develop the democracy gradually .when we have the democracy we can have the human right naturally .the democracy of the developed country also have his own flaw. we chinese will have a different democracy.
