Men are boys who grew up and they buy more expensive toys.

Do you agree? We never outgrow our liking for toys. Fortunately my toys are useful and not just mainly for playing. My wife asked me what is the need for buying a new laptop since I already have one aside from the PC. Actually there is no actual need but deep down, I feel as if it is a new toy. I wouldn't go the extent of buying a remote controlled airplane, that's too much for me although my friends do buy them. What expensive toy to you have if there is any? Does your hubby do the same?

I totally agree with what you said. On Friday night my husband told me he would delay his trip to Middle East because the ticket fare was a lot of expensive then he checked two months ago. I said it was a good idea. Then yesterday he checked on internet and the price was as same as he checked on Friday, he booked it. I asked him why and he said he wanted to go. It’s typical him. He forgot what he said. If he wanted to go he sometimes does not think the cost. Travel is his toy and passion.

Not exactly a bad passion or toy, is it? What if you also have the same passion? He will not have a choice but to take you with him. LOL enjoy life!

I really have to answer this, manong My husband has always wanted to buy this toy helicopter we found in one of the stores here in our place. I have to admit that the toy helicopter looks really pretty, very detailed and, well, cute. But it is also very expensive. I really have to put my foot down on this one, I said no. I can understand laptops, ipods, cellphones, but a toy helicopter? No way. I told him to wait until we have a kid. Then we will buy that thing.

I will sulk and throw tantrums when you do that to me hahaha. No, I'm sure he will understand. Incidentally, I have friends who really bought remote controlled helicopters against the wishes of their wives. Funny, isn't it. The urge is just too strong. cheers!

When I was young, I used to see my rich neighbor kids owning all those toys and gadgets that I could not afford to have. I did not pressure my family to get those for me because I knew we could not pay for those. Now that I am earning my own money, I am happy to own those that would make me happy. So, I got myself LCD TV, laptop, handphone, camera, video camera and more - whichever 'toy' that I believe would make me happy. Well, if your hubby is buying all these toys to play at home, perhaps you should see it as a positive sign that something is keeping him at home. At least he is going to be around, and not out there somewhere, where you have no idea who he is with and what he is doing.

Men usually have an expensive thing compare to girls which on behalf of men, they can only buy once but a really expensive thing compare to girls. My boyfriend expensive thing is his laptop and he has new appled ipod nano. And now he is planning to buy a mcbook or netbook.

Well, men are usually kids at heart. Gadgets and audio equipment are a passion of mine, even cables and connectors. I may or may not need them, but if I see them, I need to buy them...like a compulsive-obsessive...Later, I realize it was just another toy, but oh well, I already bought it...

Couldn't agree more. Men tends to have this need to purchase something entertaining to keep our brain working. My most expensive toys would be my cameras. One DSLR and one prosumer compact. I don't count my laptop as toy cause I use it for work and play. Planning to buy a gaming laptop though. Any clues? Also thinking of buying a water resistant camera for the rough trips.

I do agree. But what I like is that most men that I know knows their limitations and they don't buy just any silly things. Most things that they buy are needed in the house or at work. Every gadget or stuff my husband bought is also useful to me and in case it's not, my sons are always there to use it.
