Hello friends here i have a discussion on Rahul dravid. Is there any necessity of rest to him for next series with Australia. Is this decision is good or any helpful for our team (bring a young player into the team rather than senior). In my view it must be mistake. What is your opinion on this friends. Keep sharing and keep smiling friends.....

Sehwag came in place of Rahul Dravid and Yuvaraj Singh came in place of Dinesh Kartik. Tyagi came in place of R P Singh. I think Rahul Dravid will be playing in the series against Australia. 7 ODI's will be played and the present squad is for first 2 ODI's, so I am sure that Dravid will be included in the remaining matches. I wish all the best to Indian team...

i dont find any justification on dropping dravid.. and they cant even say that they have dropped him due to bad performance as he was going good at the previous series and also he was in good form...he was always a stable batsman than any oher player in the indian team and i think its a very bad decision to drop him.. he is really "the wall" or "mr dependable" as the media call him...

yes i agree with your discussion friend.dravid is one of the consistent player in our team. our team pay for this decision.this decision must be ridiculous indirectly they are ignoring seniors.this must be insult to him.giving unnecessary rest to him and giving chance to fresher.if he unable to play then better go for others.presently he is in good form.i hope bcci will get this thought.any how thanks for participation.have a nice day...

I think Rahul Dravid is stuck in the middle of a selection quandary. He got a raw deal by being picked for the Champions trophy in bowler friendly conditions in South Africa, and despite a decent performance dropped for the series in India. The selectors just cant sheild the younger guys from tough conditions a line has to be drawn somewhere. Anyway its just the first two games, hopefully the selectors can strike the right balance for the rest of the series.
