Decorating

I have recently re-decorated my spare bedroom and its now ready for recieving guests. I really enjoyed shopping for the furniture and accessories. I did not enjoy the painting and clean up afterwards though! Do you enjoy decorating and renovating your home? What is it you like about it? If you don't enjoy it do you still do it or leave things as they are?

I love decorating. i like painting and I hate the painting. We've decorated our family room in more of a country modern feel. My bedroom I done pretty much like color with hints of modern with the furniture.
i like clean lines and things to be symmetrical. I like squares and flowers more so than circles and ovals. If it works go for it.

I have just completed redecorating my bedroom. Before the walls were white and now they are magnolia. I have bought a duck egg bedding set. I got a handy man to put up a mirror and the new curtain rail. I have got magnolia satin curtains. I find decorating hard but worth the effort. Clearing up afterwards is necessary but not awfully enjoyable. I spilled some paint by accident and it was challenging to clear up. That mess took ages to sort out. Now my bedroom looks lovely with its new decoration.
