Hello I am hoping that someone can help me figure this out. I have received several vouchers for Amazon UK. I was thinking that I would use them to purchase cd's and movies. I noticed that for different parts of the world they have the DVD's Labeled for example when buying a dvd in the uk you have to make sure that its from the proper region or you wont be able to play it. My question is are cd's the same? I want to use my vouchers for music but if it wont play when I get it I would rather buy books or something else that wont have a problem coming from the UK to the USA. Does any one have any ideas?

as i know the CD has no difference around the world. however i used amazon.co.uk a lot, as I know they just ship around the UK. i wonder if you are from American how can you get your orders? I suppose even you get your orders the shipment is high too. as I know even in the UK the shipment fee is about £4 using Royal Mail. Good luck to you.

well Amazon Ships internationaly so its not a problem at all. Actually its pretty easy I have ordered lots of books from amazon and its not really any more expensive than buying them from ebay or from a private vendor.

CD's should play in any player. I know that with DVD's the players are set to different regions. For example I can't play american bought dvds in my UK player. As far as I know this is not the case with CDs and they will play on any system as its all universal.

yep buddy. With cd's no problem they'll play in all players. Even all kinds of dvd's can be played if you know how to change region number in dvd player. Its difficult but we can change the region.
