Has anyone of your animals ever been ran over by a car?

I had a dog that I loved that was playing one day and went out into the road and got hit my a car. My dog died that day. My dog was a black and white small dog. She was very pretty and very friendly. She loved everyone. When this happen the driver just took off and did not even stop to say he was sorry or anything. I miss my dog. My dog was such a good alarm. When anyone would come to the door my dog would bark like crazy and alert me. My dog was also very loyal. I will miss her dearly.

Actually yes. But we didn't have her when she was hit by a car. I'm not sure if it was a hit and run or anything. The family that owned her previously had given her up after she was hit and she had to lose one of her front legs.
Her name is Grace and she is seriously the cutest, most amazing dog I've ever had. My family and I adopted her the night before they were going to put her down and I'm glad we did. She is the happiest dog I've ever had, seriously, she smiles all the time :)
