A lot of asian countries believe in fengshui, in fact it has even spread to the western countries like to US. What is your personal opinion on fengshui?

I don't whether china is the origin of fengshui, but it does have quite a long history in China. At first, I considered it as the remnant of the feudal times and rejected them all. As I get older my attitude towards fengshui changes a lot. Though there are now also signs of nonsense, yet the rest of it is a fusion of our predecessors' wisom, many of fengshui's statement has proved by scientists. So I decide to put reliance on it, however, it's not harmful to my life.

Yes agree, you cant' deny the fact the fengshui has evolved into a billion dollar business so you have to take caution as there are people who will take advantage of our ignorance in the name of money. I guess the best way is to stick to the basics. Thanks for sharing. Cheers!

Well here in the Philippines I guess it has become part of our culture that there are some beliefs that came from it. If you would go to a bookstore you can see a lot of books about it. I even bought one when my parents were building their house in the provinces and gave it to them for them to follow some guidelines where to put the rooms and the positioning of some of the room. Although, we were no able to follow the whole books instruction and followed a few of them that applies to our house we still included some of fengshui influences and I think there is nothing wrong following it.

I agree, we may not follow fengshui by the book but I think fengsui's concept is great. It's about balance and how to manage the energy around us. Thanks for sharing. Cheers!

My mom got into Fengsui for the home a while back. I am not sure if it did what it was supposed to, but her house was arranged pretty nicely. I don't know a whole lot about it, but I think you should believe what you want. A lot of times things like that work because of the belief in it.

Well, you can't really deny the fact that balance is needed around us. I think that's fenshui's concept, to have balance and harmony between you and your surroundings. I guess it worked for your mom. Thanks for sharing. Cheers!

i had a chinese guy friend his laughing at me seeing me reading about the book of fengshui, he said to me you believe in that, thats not true thats only chinese business that there books will be sold...i was embarrased of what he said that my life will depend on fengshui, that supposed to be no fenghsui or what knows our future and our destiny...since then that time never believe on it...... life is beautiful....fengshui not part of our life but we itself can do things in our life through our dreams and goals....

Come to think of it, Fengsui is a multi billion dollar business from house designs to sky scrapers! But personally, fengshui could not have existed for thousands of years if it has no basis. But I guess, different strokes for different folks is the word for the day. Thanks for sharing. Cheers!
