A few years ago when I signed up for my cell phone, It was with Aliant Mobility. That company merged with Bell Mobility and now phone is with Bell. I had absolutely no problems with the first company and within days of it being switched over, I have had nothing but problems. The customer service support is now in a city thousands of miles of way and most of the reps don't even know where Newfoundland is, most of the reps can't speak English so I cant understand what they are saying, I am being charged for things I never used and so much more! Has anyone else had problems with this company?? It is getting so bad that I am considering switching companies when my contract is up!

Do you have a consumer watchdog agency there? They should know about that! Try calling Bell's corporate offices and tell them this, it's worth a shot. Maybe you can get out of your contract. Read the fine print, you might find a loophole--doubtful, but it's worth a shot. If you get Net10 up there, look into that. I've used them for nearly 3 years and they're great. No contract, just buy phone minute cards as you need them but a minimum of 150 a month for $15. That's the only cost. No contracts. The minutes you don't use roll over to the next month-but you still have to buy the minimum. It's a cheap phone service and I've never had a dropped call, the quality is always great.
