Windows Email Error

Iam trying to send a scanned picture to someone and when I do, the email templet from windows mail pops up. I fill it out, apply the attachment and send. It comes back Host "SMPT" cannot be found. Please verify that you have entered server name correctly. All I am entering is the email ady I want it to go to. What does this mean and how do I fix it. It happens every time, no matter what email ady I use. If there is any help out there, I would be very appreciative..I'm still learning obviously and don't have a clue how to fix this. lovedude..I use comcast email service and have been told that I need to get the settings from them and coordinate that with windows..Hope that is the answer,,I'm going to call Comcast today,,their people are pretty helpful usually..thans for the post J
