There are lots of people eat exotic foods from the places they went. In my country, there are lots of places here served exotic foods as their delicacies. Like, farm rats, frogs, crocodile, turtle, snakes and so forth. I have only try a turtle soup with a real turtle in it. It is delicious. Have you ever tried an exotic food? What was it? How is the taste? Is it delicious or weird in taste?

My mum used to make me eat tripe as a kid and I could never get past the first mouthful, yuk! My parents are into snails and frog’s legs and I cannot bring myself to try either! I remember one time my mother made tripe soup and she tried to trick me into eating it by telling me that it was chicken soup. I didn't fall for it, how could she think that I would miss that awful tripe smell? Absolutely disgusting!

When I was small, my mother cooked frogs with Chinese herbs for me. Frog's legs with certain Chinese herbs can strengthen babies' legs so that the babies can walk earlier. Yes ,I ate frog before. I also ate small snails which we siput in Malay language.

hi feodda^^;; yes i have tried balut, frog legs and turtle(my mother cooked it adobo so it wasn't strange at all). The taste of the turtle and the frog legs are similar to chicken. I can try any except crawling insects/bugs because it feels so creepy just thinking how they crawl in one's skin hahaha

My classmate told me that it was a cure for Asthma. I don't really know if it is true. I have an Asthma. I always have an Asthma attack during cold days.

Yahhhh... Many of my friends told me that the turtle and frog are same with the chicken. I have tried the Turtle soup but I didn't eat the meat.

I will try strange fruits and vegetables but not so much meat. I did eat snails and found them delicious. Oh yes I have eaten snake also. It was a good firm white meat.

Chinese and French people take exotic foods. French even eats garden snails whereas Chinese even eat live monkey's brain. Eeek so yackie. Well I have eaten turtle, flying fox, frogs, monitor lizard and pangolin before. It was so long time ago, I cannot remember the taste.

I did! I already tasted frog and snake meat. They taste like chicken. Yummy! There is a popular sour in our country that they call soup #5. They say that it has "jingle bells" of horse and bull. They consider this as an aprodisiac and really tastes good.
