why is it that the sun bleaches your hair but tans your skin,i've never thought bout this before until i saw something about holidays on tv the other day

I think that is right that one is alive and that is why that happens that way.I am not allowed out in the sun for long so thankfully i do not get burnt,but my hair is going white nothing todo with the sun though.I think it is the children than also make your hair turn that colour.lol.
