Some homes are so organized that everything is in its proper place. I think I mine is but for several reasons I find myself always looking for the remote control. I wonder if I am only the one with a problem like this. How about you?

yeah manong05,i try to keep my remote in the same place BUT sometimes don't and then i have to look for it which is aggravating. (once i accidentally threw my remote away. and had put the trash on the curb for pick-up. it was SCARY how close i came to REALLY losing my remote. after frantically searching everywhere i thot "What IF" it landed in the trash. so very glad i went to the trouble to bring my trash back in and search through it. YAY i found my remote. ahhh so happy and relieved. whew!

Its either i misplaced the remote or i break them. We Changed our TV remote a hundred times exagerated ofcourse, maybe more than 10 times. TV remote controls are one of the most fragile things in the house. It is also the most common to misplace cause it is the most commonly use.

You can ask the TV manufacturers to have one built specially for you LOL But it will surely cost more that your TV set, maybe 10 times more. enjoy!

yah... beleive it or not we change our TV remote over ten times now. All of it got crashed and some got broken and stop working. What a waste of money, is there a remote that is made from metal? I wish they can invent something like that.

We do once in a while, but I have more trouble knowing which control goes to what device. I finally put velcro on each one and hooked them to the device, except for the tv.

Yes, kids tend to play with them a lot. I actually had one remote contoller that was smashed to pieces and became unusable. No matter how we keep it they will always have a way to find it and play with it. enjoy!

again, we are the same with this another predicament. hahahaha. we always misplace our tv remote control, too. i have always told them where to place it when not in use but the problem is, i am the one who forgets to do it. in fact, this is the universal remote control that we are using because the one which comes with the tv set is nowhere to be found. the house becomes noisy with each one looking for the tv remote control. one time, we found the remote control in the bathroom. and the culprit? ... nobody claimed to have done it but they found out it was myself because i was the last to use the bathroom, hahahahaha

Signs of the times, is it? hahahaha I remember one time, my BP went up searching for the remote control and everybody in the house were looking for it too. The was like a hornet's nest, everybody moving only to find out eventually that I was the one who kept it under the sofa.LOL funny. enjoy

If you can change channels without the remote, it's not that bad anyway. It's just too much trouble to stand up when you are comfortably seated. It is difficult to replace them with a good one anyway. cheers!

Yeah, that's just very uncomfortable anyway to always stand up if we are going to switch the channel, etc... I think i'm planning to buy a new one soon! And after that i must be very carefull with that and to put it in the rite place, and also beware of my one year old kid..lol happy my lotting!

When I lived at my parents house, we always had that problem! The remote was always missing. I use to think it would be great if the remote had a beep on it like a cordless phone does when you lose it.

All the time it seems. The puppy takes it, the kids take it, it just disappears into thin air. Someone could make millions if they made a keychain where you press the button, and it locates your remote, like on a car LOL. Funny how we seem to have forgotten that the TV will still change channels by getting up, and pressing the button LOL.

There must be something that occupies yourself too much not to watch television. Actually, I'm not really a fan of TV but I hardly miss the news and documentaries. Kids are often the cause of misplacing remote controls. cheers!

lol, the same goes with us. we have a container for remote controls but the remote is always nowhere to be found! it usually takes us 15 minutes to find the remote control for the television. it's always the one that's missing due to the frequency of use and one more thing, i've got kids who were avid fans of tv shows. it's actually everywhere-- sometimes weu'll find it under the sofa, lol!

Yes,I am very organised and I get very annoyed when I can't find me my Tv remote In a house full of littel kids I ahve this habit of hiding the remote everytime I switch off the TV,but sometimes if someone else is watching and they dont hide and the kids get a hold it they tend to misplace it under teh couch, etc(once I found it in the washing machine). So you are nota alone
