Do you always find 24/7 customer service hotlines reliable?

Not for me and I find this one annoying. I went to the bank to make some changes in one of my cards. They told me that all I have to do is simply call the customer service hotline and they will reset it in seconds. So I went home and I'd been trying to reach them for hours. No one answers. Maybe there is a breakdown somewhere but hotlines for me are not that reliable. any similar experience?

sometimes, nop, i work in cc as csr, our shift is 24/7 and everytime there is an outtage and our tools in yet updated, white lies flood the floor...LOL! have a nice day!

yes, if there are valid reasons, I don't mind but when it happens many times they should stop posting 24/7 available. cheers!

...manong, next time you call csr and you are not satisfied, get the agents id number and talk to there supervisor, if not yet satisfied, go to there website and end email to there corporate office..

No, it's just a white lie. I have some experience in banking and mobile service. It is very hard to reach them. The automatic machine answers the phone, but I can't talk to the operator. It's frustrating!

White lies, they are indeed. If you want instructions in English, press 1, in tagalog press 2, promos? press 3, services? press 4, operators press 5. When you press 5. Sorry all lines are busy now. Please call again later. Hahahaha What a world. cheers!

I can't even find customer service anymore. I emailed a book club the other day regarding a back order. I explained I wanted an estimated date for shipment. Three different people have emailed me back and not one of them has answered the question. I keep getting vague answers like "soon" and "shortly" but no one will actually provide me with a estimated "date". The 24/7 ones seem to be the worse. My children could make up better answers than you get there - they should just post the manuals on line and let us read them ourselves.

Yes, I just had a problem with my cable connection and I receive the usual answer, I will note your report sir, and have your problems solved as soon as possible. Please be patient as there is an upgrading in your area. After 3 or 4 calls and receiving canned responses, I flatly told the representative, you are not a machine are you? Don't tell me that you haven't reported the matter yet to your technicians. Fortunately she was apologetic and told me help is on the way. Just the same it didn't come the same day. cheers!
