Hi, I write for various writing gigs as I love writing. I definitely earn lots by writing. I write for bukisa, triond, boddunan and Bright Hub. Just started with myLot. What are the other various writing gigs? -Anu

Hi Anuramn and anyone who loves to write, Have you thought of writing and publishing your own book? On Amazon.com you can do this for free. They give you all the tools and your book can be sold on Amazon.com. Just log on to Amazon.com and go to self-publishing and sign up at Createspace. You don't need inventory or anything and your books are printed on demand when a customer wants to buy it and you get paid. Just follow the formats and any question you can ask in the discussion forum. Try it out.

Hello mylo, I rated your response positive because you gave me an excellent idea where to publish my books, actually I have been looking for a publication to submit my two books which I am about to finish this december. One is about a Quiz book the other is about British Royal Houses. Thanks for your nice suggestion of Amazon.

I write for Helium. There are plenty of topics to choose from, and there are also writing contests and marketplace, where you can earn some really good money. I haven't won a contest yet, but I earn a respectable residual income, even if I go for a few weeks without writing anything new. You can also post Helium articles on Bukisa, so you earn twice, as Helium does not ask for exclusive rights. Triond demands exclusive content, but you could publish an article to Triond then copy it to Bukisa and Helium once it's been accepted.

Hi Sandra, I too have heard of Helium; however, the problem is that they don't allow writers from India to write for them. Writers from India can only read the articles but cannot write articles in Helium. They feel that countries who have English as second language cannot write articles in good English. How sad :(

Yes, a bit busy. I was not sure whether I can make money writing when I first started my freelance writing career. However, I slowly started building my reputation and I'm now happy that I chose my passion as my career. I write about anything and everything, but if you ask me about my areas of expertise, it would be computers, children education, health and fitness, internet, and HR related articles.
