Childrens consuming too many chocolates eventually suffer with tooth decay and other teeth problems , i am very scared the way my cousin bro has spoiled his teeths , he is just 6 yrs and he eats many choclotes , every1 greets him chocolates and its impossible to explain a kid about his teeths , what all measures u take to keep ur kids teeths healthy and how do u keep them away from such things

Hello friend,
It is really hard to control kids from eating chocolates.
The only remedy is...to teach them how to take care of their teeth,we should tell kids that, eating without brushing will spoiled their teeth.
Try to use some visual aids, show them pictures of decayed tooth...and explained them how it hurts when having toothache.

kids are really smart and they think they can always outsmart us/adult ones.

I can't control my three year old son from eating chocolates and candies too...
but i always make sure that,I make him brush his teeth after eating sweets, and before going to bed at night., so far i never hear him complain about toothache,.this is the thing that we can not easily avoid from kids...CHOCOLATES and CANDIES.

you don't want to see my sons teeth then and he's not eaten lots and lots of chocolate. he's already got 2 caps and a number of fillings, part of it comes from family teeth problems but not my side. so now i steer my son away from lollies unless it's a treat, and we let him have something. my mother inlaw is a number one for not listening to us, she'll let my son have what ever he wants and it's really annoying. but my son is learning, and doesn't always ask for lollies. i also try to steer him clear of cordial if he has any it's a tiny amount enough to put flavor in the water. seems to be working at the moment.
last time we went to the dentist, he was firm in saying no sugar. cause of the problems we're having. sometimes you can't do much when it's someone elses child, all you can do is warn them.
