I'm scared uploading photos in facebook. is it safe?

no doubt facebook is a great social networking site where i have lots of my friends and its more fun with its awesome applications, groups etc. but i also consider that there are so many members in facebook from all over the world. hence if i upload photos in my facecool, won'l gl it be misused. i really fear that. is it sad. gree. is it safe? are there any policy for safety?

Hi there. Rest assured that your uploaded pictures won't be used by facebook for their benefit or anything. But be careful because users or members of facebook can copy your pictures and do what they wish to do. Of course it's prohibited or illegal but you can't stop them all.

Yes, facebook will never use your picture for anything that benefit them. But the problem is not from the facebook admin and staff, but from other facebook user. There are many who can save your picture in facebook and then use it for what ever they like, so be carefull when you upload a picture there. Make sure the picture is safe to see by any one else.

I have many pictures uploaded in Facebook. There's a news before that our personal photos are not safe in Facebook but since then, I think the Facebook administration already changed their privacy policies so facebook users are now safe from any trouble.

Well facebook need to define safe first. Because once you upload your picture in facebook, every body, even not in your friendlist can still see and save your picture if you not set your privacy setting to that album. Anyway that at least what i think.

I think you don't have to worry about uploading photos in facebook. Facebook has many locks and sercurity restrictions. You can upload photos and restict random people from viewing those pictures. You can arrange settings in such a way that only your friends view the pictures. You can also arrange the friends list and delete the people who don't want to get into the friends list.

Well although you can be sure that only a few person can see your picture in facebook with privacy setting. But there is no rule to stopping them to save your picture in their own computer. Well, maybe, for some reason, other have access to their computer and then see your picture. They make take it and spread it. So the best thing is never to upload a picture that you don't want other to see.

Your picture is absolutely not safe. Actually every picture that you upload in the internet will be not safe, especially at social networking site. Every body can save you picture and use it for what ever they like with out you knowing. So make sure you only upload picture that you really sure is safe to upload.

Yes, very true. You must use your privacy setting to the fullest. Make sure you only make people who want to see your picture set to be your picture viewer only. But still, it is the internet, so there is no 100 % guarantee. So, the best thing you can do is to not upload any picture that you feel you don't want them to spread.

I really don't think there are any safe place here in the internet. Websites may make a lot of policies but there will still be at least one who will violate them. If you fear that, I don't think you'll be able to enjoy the world of internet.
Regarding Facebook, yes it is safe as long as you make sure that the people in your network can be trusted. So far, I haven't heard of anyone being abused through Facebook. I, myself, post pictures there and so are my friends. Facebook also has a policy about that issue.

Yes, i am very agree with you post. There is no safe place in the internet. Once you upload something there, there is always a possibility that what you upload will be downloaded, duplicate or modified by other. So make sure never upload anything that you don't want other to see it.
