is dracula a real or just a make believe monster?i have always wondered this especially having heard that a real dracula did live in romania.but it is all so bizzare!

Dracula refers to a real person Vlad the Terrible who lived in Transylvania, Romania. He used to impale his foes on spiked posts around his castle. Supposed to be true.

nope. it is just a legend. dracula never existed. Vlad Tepes, or Vlad the Impaler if you want, ruled a part of the country and he used to impale the enemies of the country. Dracula comes from the name of his father wich was Vlad Dracul but that was only a name. no vampires or other kind of creatures in Transylvania....sorry :)
