Do you work in the customer care division of a phone company? I am one of the people calling you at late nights. I am lazyt to go through all the user guides and find solution to my problem. I would better save my time by calling cutomer care people and get the answer quick. I don't have problems with my phone company, but I usually have probelms with my service provider. Many times I called my phone serice provider customer care for stupid reasons.

Ahaha. Yes that's true. Some say many Americans doesn't even know how to use a cellphone. I don't why are they like that when in fact they're technology is way advance than other countries. Maybe they're really are lazy or stupid? I don't want to offend any Americans here. Peace to you all. shadow41

HI. I am a customer service representative in one of the companies in the Philippines. I used to work as a technical service representative as well, and I do take calls every night, that's 8 hours per day for 5 days a week. Actually, some of the Americans don't really know how to do some troubleshooting maybe because they belong to the older population and they can no longer read the small texts on their manuals. Some of them are still having hard time understanding the manuals. People sometimes prefer being told what to do or being given with instructions because we will understand better than wasting time scanning through all the information on the booklet. Or maybe they want the answer right there and then by simply dialing the customer service hotline because they're so busy with something else that they'd rather talk to someone who knows better than just merely reading.

Hi bart, I do understand that how much lazy they are and i have several incidents which i have undergone with the Americans. i used to work in call center as a customer service rep . i got a call from american who said that his camera was not working. i promised him that i would replace his camera. then i had a doubt and i asked him to check whether he has placed his camera's battery in right position then when he checked it was totally in a wrong position and this guy complained me that it wasn't either working or charging.
