Hi Friends, when we were kids usually we think to go into some profession which we like very much.. I was dreaming to become a teacher or lawyer when I was in my School.. But my interests turned towards computer when I was in my 9th STD.. So I choose to become a Software Engineer then onwords and my concentration did not divert.. and today I am working as a Software Engg.. So friends what was your dream when you were a kid? Are you in the same profession or in a different one? what was the reason? please share with me..

Hi Chaitra, I wanted to be a teacher because I liked very much some of my teachers when I was a student. If you ask my dream become true then I can say yes, because I worked in a typewriting institute as an instructor for few months. I was doing my computer course that time and I got all the certificates from typewriting course too. It was a good experience and I got old age students (double than my age) and was really funny when they call me as ‘teacher’.

Hi Chaitra ! Initially I wanted to be a film actor, then a lawyer and then an Engineer. However, none of the dreams turned into reality and I am landed in altogether different job. It is said that man proposes and God disposes. Fate sometimes gives you many surprises.

hi friend. i know i dreamed of being an engineer, an electronics and communicaions engineer. even when my dad had told me to take computer course in college, i followed mine and took-up electronics technology, the first step of getting to the engineering course. i did finished my course, but never had a chance to continue or going back to schooling to have a degree in engineering. i got jobs after graduation and eventually got married at 21. now that i am working in a government office, and have this big family, i don't think i can get that dream. but at least, i have a regular job and what me loved this job more, is i am always in front of the computer. it turned out that i love computers now, more than any other electronics gadgets and appliances, to work with. i am planning to get a short course in computer, though i already know how computers work and how to work with computers. that at least, to have a certification that i have studied computer, so when time comes that there is another position in the office that requires a certification, i can apply for it.

Hi chaitra, This is too soothing for me that I could become what I wanted to become. This is like this - as I was still a school goers I would fancy how it would be to be a college teacher!!!! And then there was no looking back. I took major in English and did post graduation in the same subject and luckily I got selected our of ten candidates for a post of college lecturer and I was to happy that my cherished dream was going to be materialized. So I am happy what I am now.

I have always wanted to be a veterinarian. Up until now actually I still do. But actually, I am now a CPA board passer, and I work for one of the top banks here in the Philippines as an IT auditor. hehehe. It's quite far from what I really wanted, but this is where my life took me... I still hope that someday I can still take up Vetmed and practice it.. I have always wanted to put up a non-government organization for the animals that are abused here in our country...

Hi chaitra, I always wanted to be at one time to be able to ballet dance like Ana Pavlova the great Russian ballerina. Would dance on the tips of my toes and always longed to be able to have and wear a pair of pink satin ballet shoes also. Whilst I might have got to wear a white dress it was not to be able to ballet dance it was for my Sister´s Wedding so there you go but I never forgot that dream now I still dream of being able to Ice Skate like Irina Slutskaya lol but that´s another daydream that might not come about. Would also like to be able to swim along with a Dolphin sometime that is more than likely possible.

When I was a kid, I always dream to become a lawyer because I idolize my uncle to be a good lawyer and I want my parents then to be more proud of me. Then when I grow old, my thinking change, I want to have own business as what my mother did. I enjoyed most my time facing some clients so now I graduated Bachelor of Science of Business Management.

I was a banker and I liked this work for the high salary. But after getting a PhD, I become a researcher. This work is not well paid, but I find it's more useful for life. I'm not sure if it's my real career, but I do it with my best. Anyway, I don't let the profession influence on my daily life. Maybe I don't choose the right job for myself, but I'm always myself.

I never really wanted to be anything. When I was at primary school, I used to think that I wanted to be a teacher, but I never really followed that up, and went off the idea when I got into secondary school. Since then, I've just been studying the subjects that I enjoy. I'm in the first year of a psychology degree at the moment, but I still don't have any idea what I want to do with it! But it doesn't matter, because I'm enjoying myself!
