Hello. I'm a nurse. :) How old are you? How long have this been going? I'm not trying to scare you but a change in the bowel habit means something. Don't be scared. Maybe it's just a normal constipation. I suggest you eat foods high in fiber. Or you can buy snacks in the groceries that are high in fiber like cereals. Then exercise everyday. It will help bowel movement. It this will continue for another week then I suggest you should visit already a doctor. shadow41

Are you serious? You mean you haven't defecated yet for a month now? It it's that what you mean then you really should go to the doctor by now. Don't be so scared. It's best to know what's the problem while it's early. shadow41

Hi there and smile! 1. Try drinking a glass of warm water with 1 teaspoon of honey and the juice of half a lemon or lime in the morning before you eat or drink anything else. 2. Integrate raisins, figs, dates or prunes into your diet. They help you in relieving constipation. 3. Eat at least 350 grams of grapes each day. The combination of the properties contained in the grapes, namely cellulose, sugar and organic make it a natural laxative food and helps you in curing constipation. 4. Eat bael fruit. This is regarded as the best of all natural laxatives and it can also clean and tone up a person's intestines. Using it regular for 2 to 3 months will even help to get rid of old accumalated faecal matter. 5. Chewing a few sticks of liquorice (mulathi) each day is also beneficial as this is a natural laxative. It is a very useful remedy for constipation. 6. Just before going to bed, put 3 teaspoons of psyllium husk (Sat Isabgol) into a cup of warm milk or water and drink. 7. Substitute white rice with brown rice and have a fiber cereal in the morning. 8. Avoid food items that are overcooked, refrigerated, preserved or canned. Replace refined starch food items with whole grain food items. I hope it will help you. Happy mylotting again

hi mrnischalgurung You need to get a lot more fiber into your diet through more veggies and fruits also you can take extra fiber supplements you can buy in any food store. Also there are stool softeners to that will help to keep your stools soft so they will not hurt to pass, and drink a lot of water while taking fiber of any sort and stool softeners also. But try to get a lot more veggies into your diet as they have natural fiber in them, apples are also good, plums, celery, green lettuce, cabbage, most veggies are full of fiber.but fiber supplements are now organic too so do not be afraid to use them. you just need a lot of fiber.

Refrain from eating meat. Eat a lot of vegetables and fruits. Then, drink a lot of water after. Oatmeal is also very good.
