It's great feeling when you are getting married with the person you really love.. when you exchange vows and when you will say the words "I DO." What if you're going to say these words to a person you don't love? "I DO" for the sake of saying "I DO", will say it? or will you not? what if it's "all or nothing" situation? what if it was decide by your parents? what are you going to DO? will you still say, "I DO"?
Sometimes, practicality wise wins.. but for me, I will stick with saying "I DO" to a person I really love..

Hi Joan, like you, I would only say "I do" when I mean it. No point saying so to please anyone else. Life is short. We should not live for other people but ourselves, and be responsible for our own actions or inaction for that matter. By raising this question, did you just say "I do" to your other half? If so, warmest congratulations! Cheers!

My brother-in-law once said that when he said I DO to my sister, he had no idea that he would be doing the cooking and the laundry and the dishes, et al.
