When did you start? How much do you have left? I started, but I am not done and I have not wrapped one thing.

Yes a friend sent me a list for Black Friday sale prices for some big stores. I am looking it over. I have to work Friday and hate mornings. SO..... do I really think I will get up and be somewhere at 5am? Kind of doubt it!

I'm almost finished with my shopping. I plan on participating in the morning-after-Thanksgiving madness this year for the first time in my life. My brother recommends having a plan and a list. I'm going to have to hit the stores on Wednesday to get prices, pictures, and make a list. I'm excited about finishing. Wraping gifts won't take place until closer to Christmas.

I am almost finished with my Christmas shopping. I have 2 family members left plus my husband. We usually start in September being a few things here and there. It's much easier on the budget that way!

I haven't even started yet. Every year I tell myself I'll start it in January, but that never happens. I'll probably only get a couple of small things for my guy, mom, dad, sister, and brothers. The rest will be for my son. I really don't plan on spending more than $150.

At least it sounds like you have a small list. I always think I will start early too. This year is better than in the past though. Good luck!

Well good luck! It does seem time is flying by fast. I bought some discounted movie tickets for my cousins. They all like movies, it saves me money, and they enjoy it. Fast online shopping and no worries.

Great! Those should be very easy to find closer to time. Yes, children are fun to enjoy at Christmas. If you wrap them now, will he try to unwrap them before Christmas? I was wrapping a gfit in my car this weekend and someone asked me if it was for my child and I did not want them to see it. lol I am just always behind.

Being unemployed and my husband a disabled veteran out of work, I have not even started shopping for my 3yr old. Hoping to find some one day short term jobs to make some money to be able to give him a christmas this year.

Good luck! With the holidays maybe you can find some part time work or maybe even babysit for some holiday parties for neighbors and friends. E-bay has some great deals. You might try some of the survey sites on here that people list who pay money. Do a search for money or paid surveys or something like that. I hope you will make some money on here to help supplement. Good thing about a young boy, anything you give him will seem wonderful and he will know the love you share. Enjoy this time you get to spend at home with him. And good luck with finding some good deals for him.

I have barely started, but I have a few gifts bought so I'm starting to feel better about the whole business. Unfortunately, I have nothing wrapped, so I still have a long way to go. But, I look at it like this, what gets done gets done, what doesn't, doesn't.
