Hey Mylot Peeps
Yesterday I read a discussion on rating discussions and responses. I have been searching for the person who opened the discussion with no result. So I pose this question to you guys. Do I rate my own responses and discussions as well as rating others who have responded to my comments or replies? I would appreciate some understanding on this. Thanks in advance for your comments and responses.

You can't rate yourself? LOL! But you should rate others! Some here only rate people the plus sing as they believe the minus is to harsh! Me personally, I rate everyone and I try to be as impartial as possible! When I do a post, (which is rare) I rate them and hardly rate anyone a minus, unless they go way off topic or just give a simple short answer! I always wait before giving out the best response, because I do take this seriously and want to give as many as possible to respond to my post! tdemex

Hey There Tdemex!!!
Thanks for your response. May I say that I have read some of your postings and discussions and I am learning much. Now, let me see...I could rate you (example your response to my discussion right???) and you could rate me. May I request your friendship so that I could pick your brains about effective ways to make $$$ here at this site??? What say you???

You can ask and I will accept, but I can't guarantee you'll last long! No offense, but I only keep friends who posts discussions that are of interest to me! Most newbies don't last more than a day or two before I delete them! I'm old and kinda set in my ways and like thoughtful and meaning full posts, not the crap the newbies put out! Like "how tall are you?" or the famous "What size shoe do you wear" this is crap! Newbies come here and don't read the rules! They have this misconception that they have to post 20 posts a day to get rich here! LOL! So they come up with this junk and waste a lot of brain cells for nothing! After they realize they aren't making any cash they either quit or finally get smart and ask for help! So yes I will be your friend, how long we last is up to you! tdemex

Thank you for accepting my friendship request. For the record I like that you are set in your ways it means you are selective but fair. I could learn much from a person like you. Have you had the opportunity to check out my discussions. Little lighthearted but sincere. Looking forward to speaking with you and sharing ideas.

I was not aware you could rate on here. But then again, I have only been here a few days! I'll be watching this one to see what people say!

Will do! Not a problem at all! I just saw the plus and minus sign on the bottom of the post. (Duh) I see I've got your friend request and I'll accept!

I don't start all that many discussions, but when I do and I get responses, I do rate them, as well as the comments I receive. I also rate the responses of other peoples discusions. Plus, I also rate the discussion itself as long as the discussion is quality. I feel that we are trying to help each ohter out all we can and so I do rate them positive, mostly. I will give negative ratings if they have posted referral links in the discssion, and if people are rude, but that problem, I haven't encountered, and I am glad for that. Good luck to you and happy mylotting.
