why data entry site pays?

everyboday knows that the data entry site are almost scam, but there should a few legid sites. My question is that why the data entry site pays, in other word, how the admin of a data entry site get profit when members type the letter of the pics? I know how a ptc site work and its reason, for data entry site, can someone teach me?

i think that all pics are scanned data. and to make that all online so that peoples like you and me can get benefit of that they convert the format so that data can easily uploaded on net and any one can access that.
