should my baby be squeaking?

my babys 5 months old and he used to make more letter like noises like he was working out how to talk but now all the sudden hes always squeaking and just making mmm noises is there something wrong do you think or is he just having fun sounding like a little dino squrriel?

he could have asthma his dad does. ill ask the doctor at the next appointment which is in about a week in a half since i dont have a car anymore .

Your baby boy sounds really normal. He is just learning to be vocal. He is working his way up to early talking skills. My youngest child is four month old girl. She makes different noises that are normal. My toddler son tried all different noises. Now he is able to say some words.

first congrats on the little ones i hope to have a second someday but i cant afford to at the moment. and thanks for the reassurances and thanks for responding i was beginning to think the mothering comunity at large was being a bit unhelpful which was a sad thing to have to think. he seems to be moving on from the squeaking a bit and is laughing alot even if its still a bit squeak like. and good luck with your little ones!
