The Silent Sufferer

I was reading in a health magazine the other day that people who maintain silence during arguments with their spouses tend to be more likely to suffer from chronic heart disease more than those who argue back and lighten their mind's burden. Knowing this what are your thoughts on this? Are you or do you know of people who are silent sufferers? Are you going to have a different approach to spousal arguments knowing this? If so, what would that approach be? Me personally am also one who maintains silence during an argument simply because it shortens the duration of the arguement and we forget and move on more quicker than if i lash back and have an thorough argument. Personally, I feel discussion is more productive than argueing. Reading this article made me feel that I may need to respond differently but i'm not sure how since its not in my nature to yell talk loud. Thoughts?
