Most eye opening movie

The movie Blood Diamond was surely an eye opener. The life of the people in Africa concerning diamonds and the way terrorists exploit the people there was shocking. It is hard to believe that the diamond we are buying might have cost the lives of more then one people.Everybody should watch this movie.

Well, I can't say the movie I'm talking about is realistic, but for me it is a real heart toucher. The tittle is Man to Man. It is about scientists who came to Africa to do researches about pygmy tribe. The movie showed how judgemental people can be and how it can bring danger to others. It is one of the best movie I have ever watched.

Well I wouldn't say these are very realistic to MY every day life, but a few "eye opening" movies that I can think of are: -Crash (A story about the lives of many different people from different cultures dealing with the consequences of racism and predjudice!) -Four Brothers (A story about four adopted brothers who's mother is murdered in what seems to be a random "gang shooting" - but turns out to be more. Deals with a lot of "street" issues - REALLY compelling stuff!) -American History X (Deals with the issue of neo-nazism and it's consequences). I LOVE these three movies - they also have HUGE morals and really are realistic and deal with every day issues in society.
