Should I worry so much?

I became very close to my Mum after my Dad passed away. Dad took care of all the household paperwork etc so I helped out and got everything organised so I can manager all Mum's stuff over the internet. I got everything else sorted so she would not have to handle this stuff as she is not confident when it comes to looking after her finances. I moved away for a year or so and Mum didn't take very good care of herself and when I got back we realised she would need to go into hospital. She is now a lot better and I have organised for carers etc to help out. I have now moved abroad again and feel very guilty for leaving her. I think she will be OK but I worry about her. Do you think I was right to leave her? My oldest brother lives nearby but doesn't help. My two other brothers live at home and have learning difficulties so they can be a handful. I spend a lot of time worrying about her - do you think it was the right decision?
