What do you think about the movie JUMANJI?

I watched the movie recently. I had in mind that it is a children's movie, but it turned out to be a scary movie for me. I appreciate the idea of the movie, but I think it is kind of scary for kids. It is based on a board game which makes various scary creatures lived in the old centuries to appear upon each roll of the dice.
What do you think about the movie JUMANJI?

OMG thats a GREAT movie..I wouldnt call it scary either by any means..My kids loved it as did many other kids I know when it came out and kids I know now that are watching it for the first time...

It is nice to hear that you liked the movie and the kids you know enjoyed it. All the people who responded below said that they liked the movie. I don't know why I didn't like it much. I saw the dubbed version of the movie. I saw the one dubbed from English to Tamil, my native language. Thanks for the response. Happy mylotting.

I think Robin Williams is a brilliant actor and any film he stars in makes the film! My friend and I have a special film night once a month and this month we put on Jumanji, I bought it really cheaply brand new for £3 ($4.50). I have already seen the film a few times in the past but I never get bored with it, it has a great storyline and it keeps you on edge throughout the film. I loved that lion that came after them and he found a bed to sleep on. Not sure about those spiders though, very creepy. I had forgotten some bits of the film. It's a dvd that I will happily add to my special collection and no doubt in a few years I will probably watch it again. Novel idea and it was pieced together extremely well, definitely would recommend it to those who haven't seen it!

i have seen this movie more than a dozen times, n i still don't get bored of it. i like it very much. i never get bored of it, i have a dvd of it and i usually watch it when ever i feel bored and depressed. i really like it.

I enjoyed watching JUMANJI, it was very exciting for me and my kids, yes you may see it scary though, for kids they very well enjoy the thrills, can you imagine a herd rhino and gorilla ramming over your car. Kids can relate very very good in this types of movies,you know games, dice animals/creatures. it is product of real life scifi action thrillers. Well for anybody who hasn't watched jumanji yet, it is a MUST SEE movie

Its a brillant movie. THis movie got released when I was a kid and I enjoyed a lot. As a kid I always fancied fantasy, animals,adventure and this movie made it so fun. With this movie featuring my favorite actor ROBIN WILLIAM, it was an icing to the cake. After watching this movie, I still remember a gae like jumanji ( though It never took u to a jungle) lol had come n I hurriedly bought that also

I also liked the movie. A very interesting film, with the special effects are amazing. I imagine, when playing together with friends. Suddenly, the game came the horrible creature, and can harm us. In my opinion, the film is less suited to children. Terrifying scene in the film, can give bad impact for the children.
