Why should girls leave their house?

Well I was just wondering why do girls leave their house after marriage n go to the husbands house??? True it’s the tradition……… but I think this is one of the reasons why ppl prefer having sons n not daughters!!! Coz a girl has to leave the house one day… n it will b the sons who will carry on the name of their parents. But I think this practice is wrong… a girl shuld not leave her house… why cant she take care of her parents after marriage the way a guy does???? Friends do let me know what u think?
