We have not seen any pests in a few winters. So I woke up in the middle of the night wondering WTH are they doing crazy cats. Well Mr Boots found a play "toy" & thankfully I had a shovel in the house to dispose of his "toy"! I haven't seen one in a couple of years but thankfully MrBoots is on the job! & his helpers Socks & Tootsie I love my kitties!!

Cats are so cool, they're hunters and you can't breed that out of them. My Cookie, a rat terrier, is as good as a cat, though. She'll kill anything with more than two legs or winged! It's so nice to have our very own pest control, isn't it?

Too bad his sisters weren't as capable as he is when it comes to pest control as he is & he's 2x their size & declawed. I don't get it but those lil girls better be back'n him up My dog is good @ fly catching too, he sits by the back door and jumps up to get them.

Just Mr Boots is the real precious one. Hubby & I used to bicker (joking of course) who got to play w/ Mr Boots ect & who ever held him got to be lazy and not get the phone, make dinner, ect... *LMAO* He walks up to you nuzzles, rubs against your legs, sleeps with DD1 or by my feet for part of the night. Tootsie is wild, weird, & Miss Anti-social she only comes by me if I"m on the toilet & no other time. But love my hubby to the point he calls her his mistress but of course only bothers him when he's trying to sleep. Socks, is also Anti-Social but will surf on the pc w/me or sleep in between my knees or pester the heck out of me for a good petting in the middle of the night. I wish we had a bigger house...... then I'd get another. Then again, we've tried 2 other cats & neither are quite like Mr Boots. But they are not fixed or declawed like he is so that could be part of the differance?

Oh yeah, Cookie LOVES bugs! Flies, crickets, spiders, anything! I think one of her ancestors fell in love with a cat! Your cats sound precious.

Mt boots is doing his job well by the sounds of it! I have just got a kitten called Mika, we have had her for about 6 weeks now. She is a great fly catcher and spider disposal unit! I think we may get her a little kitten friend next year too I love cats!

My cats like to chase flys or whatever they find as well. I would love another cat but we already have 3, perhaps when the dog passes.

Yeah, cats are good about that - Tony caught and ate a bug this morning and then got the weirds, bouncing around the shower like he still was chasing the bug.

That's what it looked like to me, but it was funny it was Tony because he's been "old before his time" since he was little. He was more of a sleeper than a player even as a kitten. Now, The Doctor did that from the time he was 3 months old until he was over a year, but he grew HUGE in the mean time, and didn't have the energy to play because he was GROWING!

Probably still looking for another. Boots was looking for that mouse even after I scooped it up & disposed of it in the brush pile outside.

Gee, I didn't know I was living at your house, ElicBxn, and catching bugs and racing around in your shower. No wonder I'm still tired!

she was kind of like a "bonus". we were expecting him,and they had just the two of them left..so rather than split up a pair..took them both.

*LOL* bummer on squished mouse! His sisters just stay in the distance kinda like they are his back up or curious about his "toy". I wanted a calico! But we got whatever DH picked from his co-workers cat's numerous litters that seemed healthy.

hi 35snugglebunnies sounds like your Mr. Boots does a great'job of getting rid of your pests and of course Socks and Tootsie too. love cats but I cannot afford the one hundred extra dollars a month they would charge me to have a cat in my room here. Wish I had that money as I would sure have my own kitty cat. I always had at least one cat when we owned our own home. have fun and love those Cats of yours. good luck

Yeah I hear ya. When we lived in an apartment there were always extra fees for the kitty cats. That's why I never had my own cat when I was a kid because my mom wouldn't pay the extra money. Tried sneaking one in once and I had a big mouth & showed the neighbor girl who told her mom who told our manager then our landlord & then threat of eviction. Though since buying our house we needed a cat as we have occasional pest issues that need to be taken care of & sometimes a trap doesn't work in all instances. But patching up some spots in the mortor helps too ;0)
