Hi rajka, as an alternative to using butter which is full of bad fats you should try dipping your bread into olive oil which will make it much tastier and of course much better for you as olive oil is one of the healthiest things you can put into your body.

It all depends on how much you eat. One slice of 100% whole wheat bread and a small amount of real butter will not cause you to gain weight. Butter is much better for you than any margarine because The body doesn't know what to do with the fats in margarine. To cut the butter in half mix equal amounts of a good olive oil with it before using it. Olive oil is very good healthy fat and our bodies do need fats from vegetables. Gaining weight also depends on what you eat and when you eat the rest of the day. We should eat the least in the evening and eat the last time at least 5 hours before going to sleep.

Yea it is. Try to switch from butter to tuna. Tuna is good for you, as it gives you energy. Try the low fat tuna. Still have a good taste. =)

yes..butter is consists mostly of saturated fat and it is significant source of dietary cholesterol and well all now that unhealthy fats are contributor of getting fats in your body but if you really love butter or buttermilk, try those less fat of low fats one..

As long as it's in moderation, I think it would be okay and there's little chance of increase in weight. What we eat in the morning actually burns up later in the day as we do our activities. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day! :)) I have read from health websites that those who skip breakfast are most likely to increase weight and eat more in the evening. But just to be sure, I suggest you eat WHOLE WHEAT BREAD instead of white bread.
