Ponting Vs. Sachin

Ponting just recently said that it was difficult to chase and break the records set by the Indian batting maestro, Sachin Tendulkar. Do you think, he was just flattering Sachin or speaking the truth? Sachin is far far ahead in terms of records that Ponting.

Sachin is far far away from Ponting in ODI cricket... But in the case of Test cricket Ponting is just behind them.. But I think Ponting cannot overtake Sachin.. Because both will wnd their cricket after 2011 worldcup...

hey abhi_bangal I think pointing has told the universal from his inner heart as he can not touch the statute of little master. In my opinion pointing has paid true respect to sachin I do not find any flattering in his version. pkc3000

Even if Ponting was trying to mock Sachin, the statement had too much truth in it. It is almost impossible to break the records that Sachin has made. Sachin is, in my opinion, a far better batsman than Ponting.
