Hi friends, A person in my office uses a proverb all the time when he talks. He is famous for this line, and honestly at times I find it funny but many times irritating. I mean u talk about anything and you know what’s going to come out from his mouth. BTW his line is ‘ khuda meharban toh gadha pehalwan’ which means if god is in the side of a donkey, then even a donkey is as good as a wrestler, lol. So do you use a proverb all the time like that? Or u throw it occasionally and when it’s really needed. And would you find it irritating if you meet a person like that using a proverb all the time? Cheers, Tutul

Me too always use a proverb in everyday conversation. But only to those things that irritates me much. Normally I'd say "Its better to talk to donkey than a human" whenever I give advice to a person but he/she's kinda stubborn.

I don't really use a proverb.I do love this quote,"I think, therefore I'm single".I just love being single.I get to love and spoil myself.I love the freedom.yes, sometimes,I do want to have a partner.but when I hear about men cheating,it really changed my mind instantly.I rather live on my own and happy than in an unhappy relationship.

No, i dont use any proverb. But i have a bad habit of telling "no problem" very frequently. Many a times my friends, my office boss and even my wife just speak out in between my talking almost syncronizing "no problem".
