When I was a kid, I used to believe that God was bowling in heaven whenever there are thunderstorms. Haha!

I remember crying at night because I believed that the world will actually end in the year 2000. If I wasn't mistaken that was way back 1990 something. And I kept on praying to God and asking Him not to do it because so many people will die.

Thats scary! Anything like that freaks me out! Have you heard that the world is gonna end by 2012? My boyfriend keeps reassuring me and finding out thru scientists that the world is NOT gonna end on that year.

My father and grandmother used to tell me that if I was bad "Caleb" would come and get me and carry me off to his cave. "Caleb" was a local legend in Kentucky about a man who had been beheaded and carried his head under his arm and carried "bad" children off to his cave. They never told me what happened once the kids got to the cave, but the implication was clear. Maybe that's why I'm in therapy now. LOL

That my stuffed animals were real and would protect me from the bogey man. I had them on shelves above the door to my room and the door to my closet. So I got it in my head that they would protect me if the bogey man cam out of the closet to get me or if someone bad tried to come in my room in the middle of the night. Plus I had the fiercest ones that slept with me, to protect me more. my tiger teddy and cubby.. okay cubby was more cut than fierce. He looked like a little koala. LOL But they kept me great company I had them for about 2 decades until my dog ate them.. :(

I used to believe that everything on tv was filmed live. Say for instance, I used to watch The Brady Bunch all the time. I couldn't understand how the Brady kids were young one day and older on another day - and then back to young - ha ha!

When I was young I had favorite rock/stone that I carried with me all around. It was the size of my small fist. And I believe that exposing this rock/stone to fire would make it stronger and harder. So, at every chance, I would start up a fire in our backyard and would keep burning it. Imagine the surprise and disappointment of my parents to see me always playing with fire. Anyway, all this belief came to an end when this rock broke in one of my fires.
