There are people with mental illness. There are people who want attention. There are people who get the real thing. Why doesn't it happen to everyone??? How would something like this change you and the people in your life?? Life is about learning and growing as people. Aren't the lessons at hand the important thing??? A vision could change the parameters.

there are actually a lot of positive things that can come out of (and often do) being in tune with your 3rd eye...

Personally from a Religious standpoint honestly Visions do happen, and come True but not always to everyone. It depends on what you are really looking for and your relationship in believing in things like this to happen as well. For me, it has happened many times, and I feel it is often Gods way of speaking to me, and answering Prayers.
The last time for me was when we were selling our Condo, and then it had Sold and then we were forced to hurry and find a house to by, or would end up having to rent maybe for a while until then. We had seen the house we are now buying, but thought we had lost it, until about 3 days before we made our final offer on it. All of a sudden we were like our house is available, let's go for it. God had been promising me a house for my Birthday, and it was only 3 days before, so we decided it was now or never if this was Gods will for sure.
So we made the offer, and our offer was accepted on my Birthday and we were able to move into our home a month after this, so for anyone to tell me Dreams and visions do not come true, the only reason a lot of people never see them, is they do not have the Faith for sure.

Yes visions are real....more often than not they are NOT hallucinations (though in some cases sure of course they are)
why does it only happen to some of us? because the majority shut that part of themselves off during childhood thanks to the elders in our lives who tell the kids "oh stop being silly" and so on....Sad but true...and the reality is, EVERYONE has the ability, its just that so many have been tainted and raised to NOT work it, access it and so on...some, such as myself had a strong connection as children, were belittled into shutting it down as we got older but have been fortunate enough to reconnect in our adult yrs....

Well let me put it in this way, for the believer it is a vision and for a non believer it is hallucination. There are many great men and woman who said that they have seen a vision, and as long as it is good for humanity and mankind who are we to disagree on that.

Yes they happen and some of the ones I had came true. Either it was my subconscious trying to tell me things my conscious mind wasn't seeing or it was true vision but it doesn't matter to me. That debate don't really matter because all that really matters is that it happened, in my opinion. Maybe you just have to be more open to your surroundings or the deeper things in life, the 9-5 life isn't the life we were meant to live in my opinion and it leads to a closed existence. Seek and you shall find as the scriptures go.

Well hallucinations is just a word that has been attached to something but there is so many factors like people who have problems mentally. Still, i think hallucinations can result from a person trying to suppress memories to hard and perhaps they've reached their capacity and then these memories start to leak into their conscious from their subconsciousness and cause hallucinations and this could be the same for those with 'mental illness'. Hallucinations could be symbolical so when a patient tells the doctor Im seeing rats maybe it carries no substance (just a prescription write out) when in Freudian terms it could carry much more meaning then just the patient seeing rats. Consider just HOW MUCH scientist still do not understand about the brain will put it into perspective and only now really into a breakthrough with the sophisticated cat scans.
