What makes you proud of your country?

Hi! I'm from Philippines! I can say that I'm proud of our country because of its natural resources like beaches, mountains, corals and many more. One of the places here that I can be proud of is Boracay and its white sand. Another is Baguio which is the summmer capital of the Philippines. These places are visited by tourists from other country. Another is our products that is exported outside our country like Mangoes from Guimaras which is really sweet and delicious. But the most important thing that I can be proud of is the attitude of Filipinos which is being hospitable and smiling.

I'm from the Philippines, and what I'm proud of to my country are the people that lived here. A couple of weeks ago we were passed by super typhoons, a lot were homeless and lost a lot of things. But Filipinos don't take the problems that too seriously, you can see that even they are on their roofs they have those smiles and hopes that couldn't be destroyed easily. And the best thing is that we all worked together and help each other. Cheers!

I am from England and it is part of the United Kingdom. I am proud of its fascinating history. I like its green countryside and old cottages. It has some lovely beaches that are wonderful to visit when it is warm in the summer time. I like my home country's location. It is situated in Europe and it is near to France.

I am from India and there are so many things to be proud to be an Indian. Well this is the nation where I was born into. The nation that gave me my identity. I owe so much. My culture makes me proud. The fact that still today we have preserved our culture and tradition make me happy. I am proud that great leaders like Mahatama Gandhi,Lomanya Tilak and Lal Bahadur Shastri were born in our country. Above all the fact that we despite being from different religion live together with harmony. Well I just love my country.

iam indonesian too like you nawanta. i think many things why iam proud to be indonesian. we have many great vacation place and city like Jogja with Java culture, Surakarta with batik, Bali with a lake, NTT is famous because KOMODO, we had many rare species like Rafflesia, Komodo etc.

I am from the United States and I am proud that our service men and women are always helping other countries. It seems like any time there is trouble in the world, we are out there trying to defend someone. This is a great thing to make me proud to be an American. I also like the beauty of our country. If you travel from east to west or north to south in the United States, you will see so many different types of terrains. You will see beautiful snow covered mountains, gorgeous beaches, deserts, big cities and more. It is a wonderful country. I hope you will be able to visit here some day. Have a great day!

On of the places here that I can be proud of is Boracay but I haven't been there but a lot of tourists are going there. Also Baguio which is the summer capital of the Philippines. But what I like most here is the culture and attitudes of Filipinos towards others because Filipinos are known for being hospitable and Filipinos are always smiling though they have problems.
