I'm looking at buyin an 89 Toyota Camery today. I'm not sure what the problems are with this car and was wanting to know what to look for.

Can you borrow it long enough to take it to a Toyota dealership's service center? You can get a complete inspection done, and what they find/don't find may even help you in negotiating a price.
I have a Toyota, as a result of being very impressed with the brand. I think Toyota and Honda are perhaps the most durable and dependable brands going today.
