Inconvenient AT&T DSL service

A few days ago, I called AT&T customer service to cancel my landline home phone service. I also specifically told that operator I want to keep my DSL service intact. She answered absolutely no affect to my DSL service once I had my phone service cancel. Last night, after work I came home, my DSL service was totally dead, and I had to call their tech support for help. The tech guy pull up my account and told me that, my DSL service is disconnected. I was so pissed off, and I have to wait until next morning to call again to their sales department to re - connect it again. This morning I called again, the operator re - activated my DSL service, but it will take more than 3 days to have that DSL service alive again. What a big Hassle. I am gonna without Internet for 3 days. It gonna kill me for that. Right now, all I can do just visit the library everyday after work. What a major inconvenience. What would you if you encounter such incompetent customer service? I only want my home phone service disconnected, but she also disconnect my DSL too.
