Studies and doctor's have suggested time and time again that smoking has an impact on fertility and can prevent conception. Yet I see all the time that people who are addicted smokers have children very easily and have multiple children. So this thing that doctor's say that smoking prevents pregnancy, how valic is it and why doesn't it affect everyone the same way?

Both my husband and myself are smokers, and we had 8 children with out having any problems. I think that different things effect different people in a different way.

Wow 8 children. Congrats to you! So do you think that these opinions supported by studies need to be revised to make it more accurate? Because I have yet to find someone I know personally who can attribute smoking to be the cause of their problems with conceiving.

I think that when they can not find a reason for something, and they find out that you smoke they just use it for a excuse.
