I am watching it right now again. I love this movie. The part about the dog is very sad though.

I believe it was a brilliant film, and I bought it on DVD although, and saw it in Cinema. I believe Will Smith played the part perfectly, and the CG was brilliant. Eitherway, it was a fantastic film.

I thought it was pretty good. Will's acting was great and there were some very tense scenes. I really liked the first half of the movie when he was alone with his dog but then it all went downhill when he found other survivors (ok, they found him) and then it became kinda boring. But what I hated about this film were bad CGI monsters that were so obviously animated, it was distracting to watch. It would be so much better if they would be played by real actors with makeup. It worked great in very similar movie called 28 Days Later.

I do not think I grasped the movie that well. When I first saw the movie I felt it was a half baked sort of movie. It had great potential but something was missing in what could have been a great movie. I did not like the ending at all and it all seemed to finish abruptly . Now while reading the responses and comments to this discussion I realize that the movie is an adaptation from a book and that the movie changed a lot of things from the book. I would like to read the book to get a better idea of what the movie was all about.

I liked the movie and thought Will Smith did an excellent job in it. It was interesting seeing the remake and comparing it with the old movie of the same story called "The Omega Man" with Charlton Heston. I think the original one was a little easier to follow but "I Am Legend" definitely makes use of the high tech movie making methods of today. Both were enjoyable films and an interesting premise.

This was a great movie and i thought Will Smith was definitely best for the role. I like how it wasnt about zombies eating your brains and running away but about the struggles of one man. The only thing i didnt like was just how much better the book was from the movie. I had the luck of watching the movie before reading the book. I was lucky becuase after i was done reading the book i though the movie was terrible. If you havent read it you definitely should because in my opinion it is much more intense then the movie.
