I am just wondering, considering the series of unfortunate events happeing in the world today, how can we help other people if we don't have money to help them with? Or do you think it's only thru money that we can extend our help, how about other ways..what other possible ways we can extend help to them? Thanks for sharing your thoughts...

for me, prayers are the best help and support a person with no money can extend to another person.if you are financially incapacitate, you can still help those in need through offerings of friendship and if they are already your friend, of course you'll want to make them feel better than the state they are in. and the best way to help them even if you don't have money is to pray for them that they will be alright.

If not through money then sharing good advices will do. It's nice to know that we make someones world change into something better when we comfort them through those encouraging word.. they may be able to recover from their down fall or something..

Money is not the basis of helping someone or somebody, we can help through our own little ways, we can give them the Love and Care that they wanted

well really you could donate time and labor, If you have a skill and could help someone who can not afford what you manually know how to do! And like with the elderly you can volunteer time at nursing homes to the people who do not have visitors and big brother big sister organizations and such!

I think people need emotional support more than anything. Our thoughts manifest our reality. Someone with emotional support and the right frame of mind can make things turn around for themselves financially or other wise. Most people already know the answers to their problems and just need someone to listen.

For helping other people most in the complicated situation its really involve money,if you don't have money its useless. but their is another way to help, you can help by praying for their good.but not all the time you can help by praying its depend on the situation.

There are many ways in which we can extend our help even if we do not have money to sped for the help. One of these ways is to share our knowledge on how to make money in a simple way and in a good way. Helping others doesn't mean that we should be spending money. People need to realize that they should be doing the job themselves so that they would not be asking for help about financial problems anymore.

We can be lots of help, we can give them extras we have in our own homes, invite them for a meal, help them with things that need done at their home, or just be there to listen.

Im one of those that doesnt have money to really help others. I have found that giving your time can be a great help to some at times. We help my parents get ready for winter by helping with their wood. My husband helps them on things that they can no longer do by themselves. We help our neighbors when they need it and even sometimes when they dont think they do. LOL! There is a great website that I just joined and I helped 3 this last week. I sent yarn to a senior who couldnt afford it and loves to knit in the winter. I sent some lables to another family that was saving them for her sons school. I did donate 2.00 dollars (all I had in my paypal) to someone that was trying to raise money so his son could go on a school trip. Even wishing someone a good day can help some and just letting them know that you are there if they need you. Everything doesnt have to be about money, which is a good thing or I wouldnt be able to help anyone.

If it is someone that you know, then you can be very positive and supportive. If they are going through a rough time, and you can get them to believe that thinking positive will make positive things happen, then this will make a huge difference. It is very important to be very supportive of all of the people around you, and to try not to be negative. It's ok to let them cry on your shoulder, but it's also good to let them know that when one door closes another one opens. If you want to help other people, like people that you don't know, then you can always volunteer. Even if it is just driving books to the elderly for the local library. Little things like this really make a difference in people's lives. I have often thought about volunteering, but then I thought I don't have time. Well, I think I am going to make time for it. Also, there is a web site here on the internet where you can go and view pages, and it is supposed to help support causes just for the views. I wished I was on my own computer right now. I think I have it saved in my favorites. Sorry I can't pass that along.

You don't need money to help people. You can volunteer at a soup kitchen or a daycare center, deliver "meals on wheels" to seniors who are poor and immobile or any number of things. Volunteer your time if you don't have money, it's just as valuable and you get a whole lot more from it than just contributing money.

hello Filipino mylot user. i am from marikina and was badly hit by the storm a month ago. but even we are hit me nd my wife offered a little help to people who are badly hit. my moms house was flooded up to the roof and so we help through taking care and food as well. my wife asked help to her friends and relatives and they gave money and some gave canned goods and clothes. we also helped others through giving old clothes. one of my wife's friends was badly hit by the storm but not only by the flood their house was caught on fire as well so we donated a gas stove and tank for them to start. cash or kind is the best way to help them and of course prayers. if you dont have money they join a organization where they help packing goods and giving it to the areas affected.
