When i visit my Christian friends' house to wish them for Christmas, I will see a beautifully decorated christmas tree in their houses, with gifts hanging down. And the atmosphere looks festive with lots of decorations in the entire hall and each piece is worth seeing and enjoying. Do you decorate your christmas tree and if so how do you wish to decorate it this year?

I always make sure that my grandmother's homemade ornaments are put up on the tree first because it makes me feel like she is still with me. Then I proceed to put the rest of the ornaments on. I also put up my ceramic houses I have painted as well as my wreaths. I go all out when I decorate the house. I have three trees that I put up each year as well as my two Santa Claus's.

Hi randylovesdar I like your sentiments and it shows how you are attached to your grandmom. Without Santa Claus, no Christmas is complete. Don't you put colourful stars and bells in the tree? Thanks for responding

She and I were very close. Her and I used to bake a lot during Thanksgiving and Christmas. She also tried to teach me how to knit, but I had never got the hang of it. I also put up garland on the tree as well as an angel on the top. I remember when my husband and I had gotten married we had discussed what our tree topper was going to be because he always put a star on top and my family always put the angel on top. His mom loved the idea of an angel and since it was two women against one man the women had won and we put the angel up.

When Christmas is approaching, we can see some color lights from the Christmas trees through some windows and every shops will put up Christmas trees and yes, it will change the atmosphere immediately. I once worked in a hotel, which was attached with a huge shopping mall. The mall management has actually asked all the vendors to put up Christmas trees and decorate their shops. So, everywhere we went was so full of Christmas decorations. I just loved it! Normally at home, I will be the one who will decorate the tree assisted by my hubby and nephews. This year I will still use the old decorations because they still look new, but I have been thinking of changing the theme colors. It depends because I am still planning and hope everything goes well.

Hi corrycrystal while reading your response, simply I started imagining the christmas trees in each and every shop in the mall with colourful lights seen through the windows. In my imagination itself if it looks terrific, then what about its beauty for the people who see it live. they are really lucky to see it live. thanks for your response.

My Christian neighbours keep Christmas tree of medium size. Colour lights are put on the tree. Colourful, glittering stars are hung here and there. Small Santa Clause dolls are tied to the tree. In the middle of the night, they keep the children's gifts under the tree and the children will see them on the morning of the Christmas Day and jump with happiness. We can here noises of their children shouting and jumping for the gifts.
