How can i improve my oral English?

Join the English course or find some communities around you such like church which use English as their daily language.

hi rainstone, i would like to improve my english too, and fortunatly in my university there are a lot of foreigners so i can talk a lot with them using engish. If you can't find foreigners around you can do this: watch movies in original english language, first with subtitles in your language, and after a few weeks, try to watch them another time but without subtitles. I learnt how to talk in english in this way, i hope it can be useful for you too. Another advice i can give you is if you like to play with videogames, try to play them using the original laguage, so you'll need to understand ehat the're saing, in this way you can fix in your mind the different accents and the right way to pronunce the different words.

read a lot of english books, novels and materials. watch american and/or english tv and movies. listen to music by an english and american singer. and practice your english with other people who speak english. go to websites and chatroom, and chat in english only to practice.

If there are not many foreigners around you perhaps you could go somewhere the are. You could also use Skype to call some of your friends from other countries. There are some video games that allow user interaction the internet as well that could be of some value. I am sure that there are other things to be done as well. Cheers.

Hi,rainstone!glad to see you here,I'm Chinese too!when we were very young,we learned our native language by first the oral and second the written.But when I study english,I find it's just the other way!what I can make out by listen and what i can speak in english are much less than what I can read...and like you,I have few chances to practise oral english,and in this case,I pracise writting in english more...this is the case.

I would suggest you ask your friends to help by speaking with them in English as often as you can. Practice makes perfect and you need to practice your English often. Talk to your family in English and read books and other reading materials written in the English language. |Watch movies in English and you can also get conversational tapes in English on which you can practice. And write as often as possible in social network sites as MYLot using the English language

hey man!i guess we are both from china ! first you have to admit english is not simple language! second you must build up confidence! third you must have persistent spirit to stick to learn it insted of fishiing for two days and rest for three days! if your goal is just to improve your oral english,i would like to give you steps in detail! first you can recite english articals about dream ....common topic ! second you can watch english movies,which can strength your sense of speaking english ! third you are supposed to read a lot to expand your words and know how to use the words you already learnt in the context ! fourth you could write something in the mylot or make comments with others topics ! remeber ,practic makes perfect!

Well, start talking in english and get into conversation classes. You might sound strange at first, but you will be good in no time if you keep on training!

Pen Pal over the internet... using Skype. Read everything you can get your hands on in English, and read it outloud! Your written English is very good! Keep it up!

you have to improve your english definetly because most of countries would can understand and speaks it .you can improve it by reading from basic comic books to sophisticated novels and also even by watching english news channels
