canoe shaped piece of metal

I was wondering if anyone would know what a piece of metal about 1" in lenght the shape of a canoe with sharp points at each end would possibly be? A piece of jewelry? wall hanging? etc. This fell out of 2 months after the birth of my son. THanks

I think you may need to visit the hospital where your son was born, they may be missing some equipment. Don't hand it over unless you have spoken to your solicitor.

that is seriously scary, something you may want to look into is the media.; If you cannot afford help, they might be able to get this on the news, the hospital may settle out of court, or some lawyer / lab may step forward and help for free if their name is dropped on the news etc., having something come out of you is a very scary thing and I think the news would be all over it, don't let it go no matter what
