Hey is it true that the reebok and adidas have the same owner ?

If yes then why the rivalries , i dun understand , today i heard in my class that the both brands are under one ownership . I cant believe it , do you buy this ?

Yes, it's true,It's a big marketing strategy made by adidas which one big reason of merging is to catch up with nike whose global sales that time is almost twice that of adidas and merging with reebok might help the company catch up and go within reach of nike in terms of global sales.

yeah adidas bought reebok, that's when the nba switched their jersey's from rbk to adidas, but for some reason the nfl still has rbk logos, i guess thats just how they wanted it

Adidas bought Reebok for 3.8 billion dollars back in 2005 bro.
