What Is Your Favorite Brand/Type of Computer and Why?

I'm in the market for a new computer and would like to hear what others have to say about what they like and don't like about different brands/OSs/etc...

my favorite computer is desktop. i used intel pentium D 2.8 with 1000Mb ram and 256 VGA. I used windows XP service pack2
