I just don't understand it. Again for the 3rd month in a row the billing statement for my metrobank credit card is late. 2 months ago I did not receive the bill and now a few days before the due date still no bill. What is happening here?
Has anyone experienced this before? Am I alone in my experience? Please share your thoughts mga kabayan!

That is because 3 months ago when you didnt get the bill and so didnt pay and they marked it late...now even if you pay a full months payment on time they will apply that money to the previous month that was late....in order to bring it current you have to pay ALL of the payments that are due starting from when it became late AND ALL of the late charges etc that they adde to your bill....as long as there is still even $1 on your bill from that time they will consider it late again and charge late fees...nope its not fair or right but its the way the credit card companies work and its legal....
Look at you bill and whatever it says is the current amount due pay ALL of it and then you should stop getting late fees.

thanks for the input. But I have to correct you I was able to pay the bill 3 months ago even if I did not receive it. I called there customer service and asked how much was due and right there I mentioned that the bill was always late. Whats even frustrating is that metrobank does not have online billing for credit cards.
Too bad!

Hi zenki08! I think a lot of us has experienced this already and it's quite irritating isn't it? Why not try subscribing for an online billing? That's what I did with my credit card and they just e-mail me whenever my bill's ready for viewing. Hope this helps! :))

Hi kababayan, I am also a Metrobank credit card holder for the past 4 years. So far, I am receiving my billing statement two weeks before my due date. You should call them and inform them about your concerns, I know they will love to hear from their members. This is also a chance for them to improve their service. If you have time, please call them but if you can't wait to be answered, you can simply email them. their email add is also found on the billing statement, I think its in the lower back portion. So far, Metrobank and BPI is one of my favorite bank in our country. Hope this helps.

All other credit card companies do it. Late billings processing. I don't know if its a tactic, but for sure there's a reason behind it. Hope only that its not against us users. Paying my credit bills in via internet and I can always browse whats my latest statement, so I wouldn't have problems such as yours. but make it sure that your computer have enough protection for this purpose.
