do you often say "thank you"? saying thank you is one way of telling others how appreciative you are for what they have donw . since most of us here came from different places, i wonder how you guys say it in your language. I am a Chinese boy,and I speak Chinese, we say thank you as "xiexie". so how about you , my friends?

Thank you is the most popular phase in my vocabulary, I don't believe it can be spoken sincerely to many times. It smooths so many uncertain situations and lets others know how you feel.

Saying "thank you" isn't as common as it should be. I see many people that don't say it when they should, they seem to take things for granted. I try to be appreciative of everyone that does me a service.
Here in the states, a lot of people seem to think that a person's wages should be enough thanks for their services. I would like to see a return of good manners here.
