What is your favorite band and why?

LOL well the "why" is simple and the same for all my favs and any artist/group I like...Because I enjoy them..their sound, their lyrics, the way they make me feel and so on.. Now as for who my favs are....well SOME of them would be (in no specific order) Bif Naked Ani DiFranco Three Days Grace the Clash New York Dolls Poe Rush Adam Ant Hungry Lucy Nina Simone B.B King Stevie Ray Vaughn omg the list just goes on LOL

Hi, quickinstinct. Nice discussion started. My favorite bands was Hanson, Spice Girls, Backstreet Boys, The Kelly Family, DJ Bobo and Aaron Carter. It was when I was 12/15 years old... Now I do not listen that music - I love to listen Michael Jackson, Shania Twain. Maybe its because I am older now... I dont know...

Some of my favourite bands would be Linkin Park, Backstreet Boys and Eagles. Among artists there is Enrique and Akon. I am actually downloading the music videos of Linkin Park.

Elbow is one of Britain's best bands. The times discribed it like that.I strongly agree.I really LOVE Elbow. Not only the music, also the songs that when you hear you would never forget. I like the vocals Guy Garvey.He's a great genius.I think in near future Elbow would reach a higher lever of their carrer. At last Elbow would be one of the greatest rock groups in history around the world.

well,my favorite band is Simple plan,slipknot,etc. .i like song which is not too melodramatic,but sometimes i like to hear japanese songs,such as sakura biyori from hoshimura mai,etc.i almost enjoy all songs,specially when i am alone or stuck in problem. It really help me !!

Owl City; because it's a happy band! Sort of hypnotic. Paramore; because all of them have feeling. Linkin Park; because, plain and simple, it's loud. Evanescence; because it too has strong emotion Enya; because it is calming, like a daydream you can hear.

I am a huge fan of music and I do not think that I could live without having music in my life because life would be too quiet and too dull,and me and my wife always listen to the radio when we are in the truck going somewhere,and we always have it on one of our favorite country stations,since we listen to basically only country since I can relate to those songs,since country songs are not as bad as other types of music,and my favorite artist would be Garth Brooks because he has a lot of good songs,and he is one of the top selling artists in country music history,and he got the Crystal Milestone Award on the Country Music Awards a couple years ago,which I definitely think he deserved,and me and my wife have almost all of his CD's and I have seen him in concert once and I would love to see him again.

My favorite Bands are Tesla and Collective Soul.. I have seen them both tons of times. Collective Soul has awesome concerts.. lots of audience participation. Tesla is just a great 80's all around rock band. I just love their sound. my favorite individual artist is Rick Springfield. I also love Godsmack, Creed, Stabbing Westward, and Incubus. for my Old stuff. The Guess Who is my favorite. and Blood sweat and Tears. Hmm I think I am forgetting The Eagles and Queen. the rule too. OK never mind- I can't decide who my favorite band is.. there are too many I love.

Maybe my favourite band now is blink 182 since they have been reunited. I love their song, it's very atractive song and not monoton. I love this genre

Well my favourite band of all time are the Eagles. Even though I'm a hard rock fan, I grew up listening to Eagles albums and I can surely say that they're the most talented artists ever. Songs like Hotel California, Ohne of These Nights, New Kid in Town, I Can't Tell You Why etc. are just purely genius. The Eagles are amazing, and even after being around for 30 years, the single, How Long, from their new album was a hit. Every member of the band can sing and they each have a solo in different songs. Definitely the best band of all time, they outclass the rest.

Well, i have way too many favorite bands and the one i like the most of them changes periodically. At the moment i am completely and totally in love with Avenged Sevenfold (A7X). They have the most brilliant songs, tones, lyrics and guitarists. Their lead singer has some real talent and they aren't studio reliant like many of the upcoming "rock" bands. Some songs of theirs that u must listen to are: 1. Gunslinger 2. Bat Country 3. Afterlife 4. A Little Piece Of Heaven Gunslinger is a slow brilliant song whereas A Little... is the exact opposite. Its a headbanging thrilling song. What i love about A7X is that their songs have the ability to take u on a ride when u don't even move an inch.
